Meet Pastor Rowell & Eldinh Puedivan
Pastor Rowell Puedivan was born and raised in the Philippines and came to Canada in November 1989 and attended Canadian University College. Following graduation, he worked in the Ontario Conference for two years as Youth Pastor in the Filipino Canadian and the Scarborough Filipino Churches. He then worked in the Manitoba-Saskatchewan Conference in 1997 as Youth Pastor and Assistant Pastor of the Hill Avenue and Weyburn Churches. In 1998 he returned to the Philippines for the special purpose of marrying Eldinh, a dedicated Christian. After the wedding, Rowell returned to Regina to continue his assignment, while Eldinh spent the next eight months working through the immigration process.
Eldinh was also born and raised in the Philippines and attended Adventist University of the Philippines (formerly Philippine Union College) and in 1993 graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
In 2001, the Puedivans left Regina for Berrien Springs, Michigan, where Rowell attended the Seminary at Andrews University, and later graduated with his Master of Divinity Degree.
Pastor Rowell returned to the Manitoba-Saskatchewan Conference and served as the pastor in the Yorkton/Melville/Canora District for four years.
In the fall of 2007, Rowell received an invitation to the Wisconsin Conference of Seventh-day Adventists to pastor a District and in January 2008 he began his pastoral duties in the Wausau, Merrill and Antigo churches.
Today, pastor Rowell and Eldinh are joyfully serving The Shepherd's House: An Adventist Community of Love in the City of Wausau as the pastoral team. Their desire is to see more people come to a saving knowledge and experience a loving relationship with the Lord Jesus, the One they daily serve, celebrate and worship.
Pastor Rowell and the members of The Shepherd's House welcome everyone with open arms to join them in worship, service, and fellowship. If you are looking for a loving church family to belong to, the Shepherd's House is a place to experience. Come and explore the possibilities with us!
